WHO WE ARE

Music is a social industry - we are storytellers, experience crafters, tastemakers, ministers... the list is never-ending and at the core - we create and listen together.

Firwood Music's mission is to assist artists, labels, managers and other industry professionals navigate the world of music production, distribution, administration and marketing. The central service is music industry consultation within a growing platform of interconnected resources - as we grow we will be adding administration cheatsheets, articles, directories, classifieds, and reviews.

We are not the keepers of "industry secrets" as we do not believe in keeping important information locked away. We aim to continue a cycle of teaching, consulting and learning within the everchanging landscape of the Music and greater Entertainment industry and push to create a more inclusive and accessible industry through our services, future platform, outreach, and advocacy.

At inception we offer accessible consultation and administration services and plan to add on the resources and growing platform as we work with more creatives.

We are in based in Metro Detroit and were formed at the historic Disc Recording studio.
